application icon trough code

Post by cm9jY2 » Sun, 18 Jan 2004 03:36:13

i would like to assing an icon to my application. This icon is stored on a server. his path is "\\server\databse"
I'm working on uprading this application on my computer and then i will send it as .MDE to the user
There is a way to assign an icon trough code, so thata i can point at the icno file storde on user's pc
using the "startup" command in the "tools" menu obviously points to a file on my machine... not want i want

if this can be solved... there's a way to use a customized .bmp as splash screen, instead of the access's default one? Also this .bmp is stored on user's machine.

1. Access file system trough web application

2. Running Java applications with C libraries trough JNI on HP-UX

i have compiled java application on HP-UX with native C library, but i
can't run
Each time i get:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no uxinfo in

uxinfo is the name of my C library.

I can't get it to work!

I use:
java -Djava.library.path=. test

/test is the name of my test application which uses the library/

I've tried renaming the library from to uxinfo but still no

When i check the java.library.path with a small application:
public class GetProperty {
public static void main(String[] args) {

i can see '.' amongst other directories...

Help, anyone?
