Compiling a port with default options

Compiling a port with default options

Post by djab » Tue, 05 Apr 2005 04:05:39

Hi there!
This might sound a very simple question, but I couldn't find an answer
for it anywhere.
I tried to install the gnome distribution and for every port it
needed, if applicable, it would display a dialog with compiling
options for me to select. Since it's a very big thing, I just want to
accept the default options, no need to show me a dialog for every
port. Is there a way to accept the default options (for all ports)
therefore ommitting this dialog?

Thanks in advance!

echo "BATCH=yes" >> /etc/make.conf
or
portinstall -m BATCH=yes $category/$port
