aac monitor

Hello everyone,

I have an old Dell PowerEdge 2400, on which I installed FreeBSD 6.1-RC2
(cvsupped, build and installed yesterday)

The Dell PERC RAID-controller has 3 scsi-drives in a RAID-5 setup.
FreeBSD is running fine, but the console is filled up with these messages:

+aac0: **Monitor** ID(0:02:0) Timeout detected on cmd[0x2a]
+aac0: **Monitor** SCSI Channel[0]: Timeout Detected On 1 Command(s)
+aac0: **Monitor** ID(0:01:0) Timeout detected on cmd[0x2a]
+aac0: **Monitor** SCSI Channel[0]: Timeout Detected On 1 Command(s)
+aac0: **Monitor** ID(0:00:0) Timeout detected on cmd[0x2a]
+aac0: **Monitor** SCSI Channel[0]: Timeout Detected On 1 Command(s)

Of course, I googled for these errors. But what I found is that someone
has *ONE* bad disk or there is always the suggestion that I should check
the cabling. I did check the cabling, according to me the cabling and
termination, etc, is OK.

Looking at the errors, the aac0 has problems with all my drives. Is it
really true all my three disks are bad?

Greetings,

1. mpeg-2 aac vs. mpeg-4 aac

2. AAC vs. m4a extension (was: Real Player 10 overrides iTunes in AAC)

No.

I did all of the above. Nothing changed.

iTunes plays files with the .m4a extension beautifully, but it doesn't
like the .aac extension. When I select iTunes as the default app on a
downloaded file with an .aac extension, the file loses its Real Player
icon but doesn't assume an iTunes icon. It just goes blank. When I
change the file extenstion to m4a, the iTunes icon appears, but iTunes
still won't play the file.

Is there a simple explanation that I'm missing?
