Does FreeBSD support he new AMD64-M?

I guess the chipset is ATi RS480M + ATi SB400

With the video ATi RS480 (Integrated Graphics)

Here is thew link:

It seems like a nice laptop but I can not find any info about running
FreeBSD anywhere. Any thoughts?

The CPU shouldn't be a problem. The ATi video-chip doesn't do 3D in
FreeBSD. (No recent ATi-chips have decent 3D-support, there is something
in the making though) The network might work, at least with Project
Evil, sound shouldn't be any problem. Don't know about the card Reader
or IEEE 1394.

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

FWIW, I have a microATX mainboard (MSI RS480M2-IL aka MS-7093) with the
RS480 chipset on it. Details:

It currently runs FreeBSD 5.4-stable (amd64):
tingo@kg-quiet$ uname -a
FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE #3: Tue May 10
22:30:29 CEST 2005 XXXX@XXXXX.COM :/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/QUIET

I did try to boot 5.3-release / i386 on it, but it had the same problems
as the amd64 version.

I had to disable the apic with hint.apic.0.disabled="1" in
/boot/loader.conf in order to get the machine to boot.

Xorg (Xorg-server-snap) works with the vesa driver, in 1024x768. In
1280x1024 it does not. The radeon driver doesn't work at all.
I have filed these bugs for it:

usb ports doesn't work, sound doesn't work (it's an ALC658C so it should
work). Network works.

dmesg output attached.
