OpenSSL on Solaris 9 and Apache V1.3

I having trouble installing the OpenSSL mod on Solaris 9 when i do the
./config and try to run make it tells me that make is not found. I know
that make is installed on the box. Its also crashing my SSH client and
casue me to have to relogon to the box. Please help!

You have /usr/ccs/bin in your PATH?

I have gcc 3.4 and gnu make (gmake?) in my Solaris 9 boxes (U30 and
SS20). It compiles without a hitch. Can you post the output you are
getting?
