Quick Campaign Running Extremely Slow

I have created Quick Campaign in CRM 3.0 to send email to about
150,000 contacts. But, the processing of the email is super super
extremely slow, although it's running (In Progress). After running for
about 1 hour, there are only 30 messages created with 20 messages
successful, and about 30-40 failed (due to AntiSpam
marketingemail=notallow). I check in the task manager,
CrmWorkflowService constantly consumes a lot of resources (about
60-90% CPU, and about 600,000K RAM).

Does anyone have idea about this?

Can you indicate what workflows you have running on the system?

There are are just 1-2 workflow that set certain flag for 10 days, 20
days and 30 days, for contact entity. I check in Workflow Monitor,
there are only 5-10 running workflows. But the performance of sending
Quick Campaign are still very sluggish, super slow, I think only send
1-2 emails/minute.

Any advice?
