Outlook 2003 loses cursor on reply/forward since CRM 3 Outlook ins

For users with Outlook 2003, since installing the CRM 3.0 outlook client
(either desktop or laptop) when then reply to an email or forward an email,
nothing to do with CRM itself, just normal emails, then the cursor does not
appear in the 'new' email, so the users have to click into the appropriate
field (to/subject etc.)
This is not happening on Outlook 2007.
Any ideas?
