Service calendar direct email

Post by Kevin Wils » Thu, 11 Oct 2007 08:21:05

The direct email in the service calendar send email to the business
receiving the service. Is there a way to send email to someone else (IE to
notify the tech that they have a job scheduled)

Hi Kevin,
Thank you for the post. This is Mike responding. You can accomplish this
by using the CRM Workflow.
Workflow is located under All Programs | Microsoft CRM | Workflow Manager.

-Type in a name for the Rule
-Select Assign for the Event
-Select Entity Type of Case
-Select Email for the for the Action and Owner for the recipient

That is one way to do it. You may need to tweek it to fit your needs.

Kind regards,
Mike
