Crystal Error running reports

Post by SkxldWR » Sun, 16 Oct 2005 00:25:08

Hi

When we try run the default reports on the CRM, we get the error "Crystal
Report Logon Error: Please Verify that you have enugh Crystal Licenses". The
systems doens have more than 10 users and jut a couple will run the sreports,
by default Microsoft includes 50, so I dont really understand why this
message.

I did try to istall the Crystal Enhanced that comes with the CD but this
requires an update to 9.2.2 Crystal Version, the actual version is 9.2.0.
From Crsytal web Pages there are some suggestions to not install the updates
and Service Pack if we are using Microsoft CRM.

There is another way around to work with this ?

Microsoft CRM comes with 50 crystal user licenses. However an actual license
is only used when a user runs a report. Once finished the license is
released therefore it would be hard to run out of licenses.

Does this issue happen all of the time and has it just started happening?
Can you restart all of the crystal services as a starting point then try run
the reports again

HI John

That is what sorprise me, that the CRM includes 50 linceses, I found a
Documment from Microsoft where appears that this is an known issue and
can happen if you change the password for Crystal manually, the IP or
some others few things... I keep on trying what the doccumment is
suggesting even rebooting the machine but here nothing looks to change
the situation.

Basically this happening from the begining

thanx

Hello

there are many many reasons for this error. I have covered most of the
reasons in other posts therefore as a starting point can you go to

groups.google.com

and search this group for crystal license
