Loading CRM V1.2 For Demo

Loading CRM V1.2 For Demo

Post by RGVuZWV » Sat, 14 Jan 2006 05:15:02

Hope someone can answer my question.

I am trying to load up CRM V1.2 just to have demo copy to play with, etc. I
set up a server Windows 2003 with latest SP, SQL 2000 w/ SP3, IIS, and am now
trying to load the Exchange Server to then load the CRM V1.2 software. A
couple of questions -

Can I load this all on one server - this is a blank server used for nothing
but this purpose?

I am having trouble with the Exchange 2003 load, because it states that I
need to have the NNTP service running. However, I can't find this in the
components list to begin running it. What else do I need to load. I guess
the first question above is the most basic - am I crazy to think that I can
load this all on to one machine?

Thanks for any help that anyone can provide!!!

Yes, you can run all of these on a single server, though it is not a
supported config. I run my demo environments like this via Virtual PC.

The NNTP service may need to be added via Windows setup by selecting it in
the Windows Components.
