Configure IFD using IP address and not domain name

Hi,
We have a MS CRM Server on which IFD Configuration is to be made.I have used
the config file to make the IFD Configuration.The structure of file

used,is as follows

<CRMSetup>
<Server>
<ifdsettings enabled="true">
<internalnetworkaddress>192.168.96.1-255.255.254.0</internalnetworkaddress>
<rootdomainscheme>http</rootdomainscheme>
<sdkrootdomain>IP address of our Server and MS CRM site port
(5555)</sdkrootdomain>
<webapplicationrootdomain>IP address of our Server and MS CRM site port
(5555)</webapplicationrootdomain>
</ifdsettings>
</Server>
</CRMSetup>

This way,necessary changes (in database,registry)are made by the set up.I
have also created a host in DNS (Forward look up Zones)with the domain name
prefixed by organization name (orgname.domainname.com).
Now ,when I try to access the MS CRM server (where IFD configuration is
done) over the Internet,I get redirected to signin page...
but error is shown as :Network path not found...

Please suggest...
