Urgent! Problem going online with laptop client outside of the net

Hi,

we have CRM running and accessible from outside of the network through our
firewall.
The Web Access is working well, anybody can access the information by going
to
https://ourwebsite:5556/

Only, the laptop clients can not go only online. When trying, we get the
error message:
Microsoft CRM can not go online. The server could not be found.

Do we have to open another port?
Any other advice?

Any helpt would be greatly appreciated!

I would imagine that the Laptop client is coded to see the internal URL for
MSCRM during its setup. Thus the URL you are trying to connect to when going
online when outside of the office is not available to them hence the error
message.
