Hi Adi,

Do you have working knowledge of Reorting services/database query
development? Secondly, do you want to develop SSRS or Custome ASP.NET report?

Hello Ayaz,

I know how to create simple reports using Business Intelligence development
Studio. The report i asked about i find it difficult for me, but i want to
learn how to make such a report. I found some tutorials on creating quick
reports, but that i already can do. I don't ask for a .rdl file or something,
i need help on creating the query needed to use... For some i think this is
piece of cake but I need to learn and understand how to create such reports.

Thanks

declare @TodayUTC datetime
set @TodayUTC = GETDATE()

select * from filteredaccount , filteredopportunity,
filteredsalesorder
where filteredopportunity.customerid = filteredaccount.accountid
and filteredsalesorder.opportunityid =
filteredopportunity.opportunityid
and filteredsalesorder.createdon > dbo.fn_BeginOfDay(dateadd(dd, -28,
@TodayUTC))

you can use this command

to get the desired result

Hi,

Below is a report from VS 2005 to show all my reports for customers but i
only want to show the last visit for each customer regardless of which owner
visited last, at the minute it shows evry last visit per owner...

SELECT DISTINCT new_accountidname, new_branch, MAX(new_end) AS Expr1,
owneridname
FROM FilteredNew_Visit
WHERE (new_end < GETDATE())
GROUP BY new_accountidname, new_branch, owneridname

any ideas how i can filter this?

Regards

Ian
