Hi,

I am not sure if this is the correct forum or not since it involves java. I

am working on the application where I need to encrypt data using a public key

in java and pass it to a web service written in vb.net for decryption using a

private key.

Java implementation of RSA is different from Microsoft. Java uses

BigInteger type as a key where in .NET it is a XML value.

Does anyone know how I can generate keys so they can be used on any platform

(especially in java). Thanks for the help.

1. What's the use of passphrase used in generated RSA or DSA key?

2. Using RSA public keys exported from Java or OpenSS ...

The link here is down and im unable to get the sample :(

Would you be able to send it to me or put it up somewhere else ?

I have the same issue with pem.

thanks,

Taavi
