I have a win XP running on a HP Pavilion N544
trying to upgrade an MSN messenger from 4.7 to ANYTHING higher, gives me the following message

Could not access network location <Common Administrative Tools>. AllUsers\.
Then it says Error 1603

IT IS NOT this as it has been reported in this site before... I do not even have the folder named
x86_Microsoft.Windows.Networking.Dxmrtp_6595b64144ccf1df_5. 2.0.4868_x-ww_212f7d9e in this computer

U have to be logged into windows xp as Administrator to
install msn messenger.

There are only two users
- "me" (administrator, by default
- "guest

None of them works to install it

Try this:
Option 1. If you tried to upgrade by clicking the There is a new Messenger available, would you like to upgrade now? message:
a. Close all applications and restart the computer.
b. Start MSN Messenger.
c. Click the There is a new Messenger available, would you like to upgrade now? message and follow the steps.

Option 2. If you tried to upgrade or download MSN Messenger from the MSN Messenger Web site:
a. Close all applications and restart the computer.
b. Visit http://www.yqcomputer.com/ , and then try to download MSN Messenger again.

Option 3. Remove, and then reinstall MSN Messenger:
a. Remove MSN Messenger.
Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, and Windows 2000
1. Right-click the MSN Messenger icon in the notification area at the far right of the task bar, and then click Sign Out.
2. Click Start, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
4. Click MSN Messenger, and then click Add/Remove.

b. Download the Windows Installer files. Windows Installer Redistributable
for Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows Millennium Edition Visit

and then follow the instructions on the screen.
Windows Installer Redistributable for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 Visit

c. Reinstall MSN Messenger:

Make a note of the folder's name so you can find the software after it has downloaded.
2. Visit http://www.yqcomputer.com/ . Click Download now, and then click Save. Open the folder you saved on the hard disk, and then click OK.
3. Double-click the SetupDL.exe, SetupNT.exe, or Setup9x.exe file from your download folder to install the software.

4. Restart the computer before you sign in to MSN Messenger.

I have X
msn versions prior to 4.7 won't install either..
I am really stuck on 4.7
