My Report shows fine on pop-up preview window yet gives error when
viewed in report server

I believe that the pop-up window simulates the report server , my
report is fine in th epop up window, yet it breaks in the report
server, my config files are all the same, i made sure they are all
alike.

My report uses a custom assembly that refernces a sharepoint.dll

the custom assembly is strong named and is already in the GAC

i have given the custom assembly permissions and put permissions in
method level

[permissionset(blah blah)]
public string function()
{}

I mean what's wrong in this world????

I even gave FullTrust on the AllMembershipCondition, yet it didn't
work.!!! what the heck??

1. Problem printing Report with Sub-reports - but print preview looks fine!

2. Unable to validate SQL Server Reporting Services Report Server ins

I have upgraded SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2003 Standard and CRM 3.0 to
4.0. The SQL upgrade would not work and I had to do a complete uninstall of
2000 and install 2003, with the reporting service. I then restored all of the
user databases and logins. I also installed SP 2 for SQL and the latest
updates. The CRM upgrade completed without any problems.

When I try to install the Connector for SQL Server Reporting Services I get
the following error.

Unable to validate SQL Server Reporting Services Report Server installation.
Please check that it is correctly installed on the local machine.

The SQL reporting service is installed and I have verified it by going to
the website, http://server/reportserver. It lists the _MSCRM database and
when you click on that it lists 4.0 and MSCRM_DataSource.

When I go to http://server/reports it lists the _MSCRM database there also.
When you click on that it says there are no items. I would assume that is
because we have not created any reports.

I have also tried using the instructions in KB article
http://www.yqcomputer.com/
name, not an instance name, and it still gave me the error.

Does this mean that the Connector for SQL Reporting Services is actually
installed? If not then why am I getting an error that the SQL Reporting
Services Report Server is not installed?
