moving databases..

Hi Friends,
I am trying to replace the old hardware & moving existing
applications to new servers. The old server has sql server
installed with couple databases which are being used by
ASP applications with ODBc connections. What are the
precautions that I need to take care of before I start
moving the databases & asp application to new hardware.

thanks in advance.

Thanks guys! Thanks for the links Andrew. Is there any way
of creating existing ODBC Connections on new server
programmatically! Anybody tried?

Export the appropriate registry entries under ODBC.INI (do a search under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE to find it - don't remember exact location).

Import to new server - should be all set.
