PHP issue on server

Post by the9Ulair » Sun, 29 Apr 2007 07:15:57

If the hosting company blocks URL calls from PHP, what affect will this have on
the website and it's visitors?

Here's a link: http://www.yqcomputer.com/

On the site, when people order a download they receive an e-mail with a link
to download from. Customers haven't been able to see a link. Someone ran a
test on the server and found out that the hosting server blocks the PHP URL
calls.

Could this issue possibly keep people from processing orders or even seeing
pages?

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

Why don we stop talking about Microsoft and products that they don own?
Reason: Can you imagine that Microsoft would show interest about PHP? Can
you imagine Ms Visual PHP? wel get a non-working scripting non-free
language.... while Microsoft think ASP it better than PHP and is not a
threat wewill be able to sleep during nights and safe from this kind of
nightmares .....

cheers!.
