I was recently working on a web site in Dreamweaver and some strange shite
started to happen. There was some funky things happening with a page that I was
working on, it was an alignment thing, way to weird to describe. So, to find
the problem, I was deleting ONE character at a time, then previewing in the
browser. Well, I did this A LOT, back and forth, back and forth, until suddenly
my hard drive was full. I assume it's because DW was keeping a copy of the page
in the cache or something.
So, then I saved the file I was working on to an external Hard Drive because
the internal one was full, even though I had 600+ megs when I started working
Then I restarted. When the ol' PowerBook G4 fired back up, I again had 600+
When i tried to open a file from the site I was working on, DW shows that
there's no site defined at all. No site map. No nothing. But all the files are
So, how do I re-set up the site or "re-define" the site without messing stuff
up. It WAS is almost complete, it's uploaded on a remote server as well (except
for the last file I was working on).
I probably could've just defined a new site, but I didn't want to run the risk
of really screwing stuff up and I didn't see anything regarding this sort of
issue in the "help" section. So, I figured I'd ask here.
Thanks in advance.
