this is what I know: you can point it to a blank page on your own server which
you have a redirect tag added to the head. You will then see the number of
click in the stats about that redirect page, given you have such stats
available, of course how do I do this ? and do I setup 2 links on the banner,
one to the actual page and one to a blank one ?

Hi, You wouldn't need two links on the banner! When your visitors click the
banner they are taken to the blank page, then immediatly redirected to the
actual page. However, this method will only be of use to you, if your site
stats are powerful enough to track visits to each individual page.

figure out what serverside scripting you can use, then search in that
category for ad managers at http://www.yqcomputer.com/ there are category pages
just for them, many free, many pay-for scripts.
