ASP 0131 Disallowed Parent Path

Post by saps » Sat, 09 Aug 2003 05:58:08

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

Hi,
I have some asp vbscript pages that update online my database, but when I make a directory for these pages I get this error:

Active Server Pages, ASP 0131
Disallowed Parent Path

I have see on macromedia website a solution for this error, they suggest use the virtual path.
The best way is to use virtual path or put all pages in the root site ?
What is better ?

Many thanks.

Are parent paths enabled on your server?
