Is there a macromedia newsgroup to talk about ecommerce applications or
extensions. I'd like to find out information about webassist ecart, or
cartweaver, storefront etc. How they integrate with dreamweaver mx and is
the user admin end relitavely easy to use for the client.
I need to get a shopping cart up over the next month but don't want to
invent the wheel, learn php, or cf. (Although that is my August project) If
i have to contract out to a programmer I will, but I'd like to take a stab
at it myself.

Right now I'm leaning towards Miva. So maybe someone knows how these
extensions stack up next to MivaMerchant 4. Or if there is a newsgroup that
might be helpful?

I have Webassist eCart and its great, but its only a tool, its not a
complete solution. You have to create the checkout process if your not using
PayPal. I think there is support with WorldPay or something like it.

The extensions are great, and the support is really good. If you dont know
what your doing they can help point you in the right direction.

I have been building my store for about 6 months and it will be launched
very soon :)
