WSC does not update timely

WSC does not update timely

Post by Ken » Tue, 09 Dec 2003 15:21:55

When I edit WSC on the server, it does not get updated
quickly. Even if I unregister it, an ASP code can still
use it until sometime later. Is there any way to speed
this up so I can test the WSC code efficiently? Why does
this take time to start with?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

2. Label.text not updating in a timely manner

I have two backgroundworkers on a usercontrol that mainly act like
timers. One of the actions in the ProgressChanged event is to change
the text of a label in the format of "H:mm:ss".

Now the label skips seconds sometimes.

The ProgessChanged event is fired every 10th of a second. And it
really does, because if I send the text to the Immediate Window with
debug.print I get output for every 10th of a second. I need the 10th
of a second accuracy for the purpose of the function, but for visual
purposes seconds are good enough.

How can I get the label to update fast enough so it doesn't get to
skip seconds?
