Hi, I want to view pdf's without the need for acrobat being installed.. are
the any components for this or specifications of the format?

I created an add-on component for Envision graphic library allowing to load
images from PDF files.

You can give a look to

PDF specifications are availble on Adobe site, and are "just" 1150 pages ;-)

Hi nix!

I bougth the component from Francesco, and I just want to tell you that it
works very well!

Please note that you don't need the Envision library, it works perfectly
well without it.
On the other hand you do need Ghostscript dll and a lot of .ps files
installed with your application, so it does not completely "stand alone".

Hi Jonas,

I have created a new component for Envision allowing to load/save images
from/to pdf files without requiring external DLL: all 100% pure delphi
code... It work only on "images" objects and don't make rendering of other
pdf graphics primitives.
