They are the same - EXCEPT - the C++Builder order will include update 1 (a C++ update). The Delphi
order will have the C++ preview unless you get a re-mastered version. (Update is available now for
download)
The new CD's have been released to manufacturing, but I don't know when shipping will actually
start. I have not received a shipping notification yet. (I ordered the C++Builder SKU).

It seems to me in its recent "24 hours" broadcast Borland said that
there would be different packages available--Delphi and C++ Builder. I
imagine that's so each audience can "see itself" in the package.

Once you get past the package label, does it matter which one gets? I
typically buy the enterprise or architect version, and I don't see much
C++ Builder out there. I'm thinking that doesn't matter now...

Thanks Michael. That's about what I thought. To add to the mix, in
looking around today I find something called "Borland Developer Studio
2006 Architect." Is that yet another name for the same product, more or
less?

Yes.
There are Pro, Enterprise and Architect versions.
The feature matrix:

As time goes on, more will be added to the C++ personality to bring it more in line with the Delphi
personality.

I'm buying the BCB variant so that I show up in Borland's BCB sales
figures and not Delphi's.
