Using Result Sets From Oracle Stored Procedures

Post by Talmaier G » Fri, 26 Nov 2004 00:16:14

Hi All!

Is it possible to get a cursor from a stored procedure? I couldn't set the
TADOStoredProc parameters DataType to ftCursor. I've got the message:
"Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in
conflict with one another." How does it work? Does it work anyway? I use
Oracle version 9.2.0.4.0 with OLE driver.

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi!

Good news for everyone! In the meanwhile we sold the problem. It works
perfectly! All you have to do is, insert one plus data into the
TADOStoredProc's connection string, and the cursor parameter sould NOT be
declared, only the normal parameters.

PLSQLRSet=1

the full connection string:
Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle.1;PLSQLRSet=1;Password=mypassword;Persist Security
Info=True;User ID=myuserid;Data Source=mydatasource
