If I make a DTS package at Computer A, that export
data to C:\adi.xls, so when I execute its DTS package at computer B, where
data will be exported? Is it still at Computer A? or at Computer B?

It will be exported from the perspective of the SQL Server (if Computer A
is the server, then it's C:\)

from Computer B, so of data of will be exported at Computer B too.

I haven't tried this, but you might be able to share a drive/directory on
computer B, map a drive from computer A to computer B.

It's good idea. But if I have a lot of client, so with your idea, less
efficient. Can U look for solution better?

I'm assuming the DTS package is being run from the client so off the top
of my head..

- Map a drive to computer A from computer B (ex: S:\DTSOutput\) and after
executing the package, copy the file from computer A to computer B.
- Write a server (TCP/IP service, COM server, whatever) that 'serves' files
from a directory where the client requests the file from the server (client
doesn't care and doesn't matter where the file is physically).

Connect to your Excel file using Jet provider and execute SELECT INTO ...
FROM ... IN [<SQL Server>]

where <SQL Server> points to table in MS SQL Server. Jet can query from MS
SQL Server using ODBC, it is like link MS SQL Server table in mdb file.

I'm sorry, I don't understand with your answer. Can u give me example? So
that i will be clear.

Connection string:

Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=c:\file.xls;Extended
Properties=Excel 8.0

if c:\file.xls does not exist, it will be created (directory should exist)

Query - execute with TADOCommand:

select * into authors from [ODBC;DRIVER=SQL
Server;SERVER=(local);DATABASE=pubs;].[authors]

This assumes local MS SQL Server and Windows authentication.

So How, if I connect MS SQL Server with SQL Server authentication.

And do U know, How to export from SQL Server to lotus (*.wk3, wk4) or qpro?
If yes, Can U give me example. If no, do you have solution for my problems?

Jet can work with Lotus files ("Extended properties=Lotus WK3" or "Extended
properties=Lotus WK4" in ConnectionString), but I am not familiar with this
feature.
