Is it ok to use table to store records in SQL server
(PostgreSQL) in the following way:

Table1.Open;
Table1.Append;
.
.
.
.
Table1.Post;
Table1.Close;

I've tried and it works but still...

Thanks in advance.....

Nikola,
Don't use table based components (TTable, TADOTable, etc) against a set
based server. Always use corresponding set based components (TQuery,
TADODataSet, etc)

You didn't mention what version of SQL Server your using, but if it's
7.0/2000, Microsoft has depreciated it's DBLib (which the BDE uses and
Borland has depreciated it's SQL Links) in favor of ADO.

Once your up and running with ADO..
