Open Application

Open Application

Hi,

I'm using TestComplete to test a win32 application -- they use the term
"Open Application" to designate a software specially compiled so it
can provide information about methods and classes to the user land.
I'm expecting to be able to call these methods in a window-oriented
way, that is, given a win32 object (window), I could map all methods
called by buttons, etcetera.

Unfortunatly, I could not manage to compile the application as an
'open application' [whatever it is].
I'm using Borland C++ Builder 6 with "Full Debug" option enabled.
Does anyone knows how to set up this type of program?

thanks a lot in advance,

1. Office 2004 issue with documents NOT BEING ABLE TO OPEN APPLICATION, but application can open documents.

2. Trouble opening Excel Files without first opening application?

Please can someone offer me a suggestion to my problem?
Recently - I am unable to open a saved excel file without first opening the
excel application - I wonder if there is a simple solution that will help
without having to re-install excel?
If i try to open the saved excel file i get an error message 'Cannot find
the file specified'
(Though, as mentioned) if i first open excel application and file/open there
is no problem?)
I would appreciate any advice....
