expressions to omit info

I am using Order Entry Database from Access.

I want to create a query that OMITS any names that start with Sky. How do I
create the expression.

Thank you

In the criteria of your name field, put:
Not Like "Sky*"

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

SELECT <column list>
FROM <table name>
WHERE last_name NOT LIKE "Sky*"

If you've set up the DB to use ANSI92 syntax you'll have to use the %
character as the wildcard character instead of the *.
