ApplyUpdate(-1) not working

ApplyUpdate(-1) not working

Post by HD » Sun, 15 Jul 2007 04:18:57

Hello,

Using Delphi7 for a multi tiers application. We have just migrated from
Oracle 9i to 10g.
I have a table with 2 columns: a Varchar2 and a blob. When I try to insert
a record, the post is done without any problem, but when I try to do the
ApplyUpdate(-1), it gives an error that the operation is not allowed because
the connection is closed.
I had the Oracle DBA monitor my connection while I use the application to
insert a record and he says that he sees me connected at all times... Maybe
the error message does not represent properly the real error.

Does anybody have an idea of what is happening.
