Can I install 64-bit VM on 32-bit OS running on 64-bit CPU?

Can I install 64-bit VM on 32-bit OS running on 64-bit CPU?

I have an AMD 64-bit CPU installed with 32-bit Windows Server 2003. If I
install Virtual PC 2007 on this machine, can I also create Vistax64 VM's on
it?

Or must I be on a 64-bit host OS in order to run both 32-bit and 64-bit VMs?

Thank in advance,

-Ed

Neither. VPC does not allow 64 bit VMs, regardless of the host OS.

No. VPC doesn't support 64-bit guests.

As above. If you need 64-bit guests, get a copy of VMWare...

Ed:

VPC does not support 64-bit guests on any host (not even 64-bit ones). VMWare
Server (free) or Workstation (not free) will do it.
