How to stop code from adding number to existing code?

What do I have to set to stop this from happening. Have web pages with PayPal
links to add to shopping card. Example:
<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_cart">
<input type="hidden" name="business" value=" XXXX@XXXXX.COM ">
<input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="Name of Item">
<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="$5.99">

When I copy and paste this to the next "form" or item the code is changed to:
<input type="hidden" name="cmd0" value="_cart">
<input type="hidden" name="business0" value=" XXXX@XXXXX.COM ">
<input type="hidden" name="item_name0" value="Name of Item">
<input type="hidden" name="amount0" value="$5.99">

... and the next would be:
<input type="hidden" name="cmd1" value="_cart">
<input type="hidden" name="business21" value=" XXXX@XXXXX.COM ">
<input type="hidden" name="item_name21" value="Name of Item">
<input type="hidden" name="amount1" value="$5.99">

... if I already have existing items on the web page and add a new one, it
change all the items and adds a number, When you have 96 items already on the
page and make a change you have to into each line of code and delete the
number so that it reads like the first group above.

Anyone know how to fix this???

Uncheck "create unique id on paste" I can't tell you which menu or dialog
box it is under since I don't have Expression open but I'd suggest looking
at Tools | Application Options or Tools | Page Editor Options or Site | Site
Settings and exploring al the tabs.

Yes
- you can change the EW settings (see Cheryl's post below) to allow duplicates
But EW is telling you it is not correct html to have multiple form fields in the same form w/ identical field names
Each of those paypal cart groups need to be in a separate form

The option is under Tools, Page Editor Options, General. Untick "Make ID
unique on paste"

Thanks for all the posts. Actually each of the items were in separate forms
and it still caused this to happen.

In my opinion, this is a bug, see

This is exactly what is happening, but it happens even with there are
separate form elements separated by non-form content. The do not need to have
unique attributes.

No, this is a bug. It should only apply to IDs not name.

How to stop code from adding number to existing code?

Happens all the time to a friend. He's not using forms and his page
could not be simpler, just a handful of bookmarks in a page of text.

On the other hand he may be lucky, because as often as not my attempts
to insert bookmarks are rejected totally, and sometimes when I succeed I
find that an associated <a href has been completely removed.
