Try this.. It's called BookMarkBridge. I know it works with IE to Mozilla
and Opera. It may work for MSN Explorer also.

Ok, I checked it out and it doesn't have MSN Explorer in it.. Sorry about
that.. However, if you are into Programming, you could always try to code
that in. Or, you could provide a wishlist to the programmers, and maybe
they'll add it into the next version.

I have tried to find favorites.xml and it is not on my computer. Someone
notted that if you restart MSN 9.0, then that would recreate from MSN's
profile a new favorites.xml. I have tried that with no luck. Does anyone else
know what else I cn try?

Make sure you have "show hidden folders" checked in Tools>Folder
Options>View in My Computer. The favorites.xml is in a hidden folder path.

It's a complicated path but you'll find it under :-
C:\Documents and Settings\[Your windows login name]\Application
Data\Microsoft\MSN6\UserData\[GUID]\favorites.xml.

UserData is a hidden system folder so you need to turn on view hidden
folders from your tools/options menu in windows explorer.

[GUID] is the unique ID that MSN assigns the accounts on MSN Explorer.
If you only have 1 MSN sign-in account you should only see one of these
folders.
If you have more, then just go through each one until you find the one
you're looking for.

Even though you're using MSN 9, the user data is kept in the MSN6 folder
(for some weird reason!).

Sorry, typo in the path.
instead of Application Data\Microsoft\MSN6
use
Application Data\MSN6

Without the "\Microsoft"

Thanks, but I am showing hidden folders and I still cannot see favorites.xml.
I have also followed the path and have tried to search for the file. None of
those methods found the file. Any other suggesstion?

do you also have "Hide protected operating system files" unchecked as
well? I know it was mentioned before, but from your reply, I just
wanted to make sure. Some people I know think the two dialogs are the
same thing.

The path to the favorites file for MSN 9 is

C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application
Data\MSN6\UserData\{09ABE2A8-1CA6-01C4-0200-000014FEBCF0}

all on one line where User name is your user name.

Open this file and look for favorites.xml.
It is linked to the MSN server while you are on line so if you want to move
or edit it you must first disconnect.
It can be edited in Excel or Word but it is quite tricky so make backup
before you start.

Kyle:
Thank you. Your thought was the key that I was missing. I was showing my
hidden folders and files; however, I had not unchecked the "Hide protected
operating system files." Once I did, I could see it and then it was easy to
get them converted to Outlook.

Thanks again...Leddy2
