Assuming they are in jpg format have you done a Search of your hard drive
(s) for extensions ending in jpg? *.jpg If not jpg format do a search
based on file extension.

Thank you Doc 25, for your fast response to my question. I actually earlier
today did an Explorer search for photos and out of about 19,000 photos and
graphics I found the pictures and was able to backtrack them. They actually
were in Picture It, just not in the Library and I didn't know they had two
places to store them. They were under "other files on thr start up window of
picture it. Then the problem was how to get them to the Library. I ended up
going to my CD Record Now program, putting them on a cd and then copying them
back to the Library. I'm sure there must be a way of gettung them ouut of
thast "other files" window and into the Library, but I couldn't figure it
out. Anyway, I got them back and I'm happy and thanks for your response. It
woould have shoetened the list a lot if I'd thought of the JPG thing.--

Glad it worked. Not sure how PictureIt! works but I would have just used
Windows Explorer (I actually used Directory Opus) to copy the files from the
one directory and paste them to the right directory. Of course, you could
have selected all the files, held down the left shift key and dragged the
files to the destination and it would have moved all the files for you, not
copied.
