IIS 6.0 URL presentation question

I see on many websites that they do not display that actual page you are
viewing but rather the directory of the page.

www.company.com/sales/ vs. www.company.com/sales/default.aspx . How is
this done?

Hello,

You can use frames. But by looking at your example, you might be meaning
Default Document.

You can set the default document by doing this:

In IIS Manager, right click the website, or folder, and click Properties.
On the Documents tab, enable Default Document (if it is not already
enabled), and add the default document you want (for example default.aspx).
