Howto put IIS on www instead of intranet by use of DNS service?

Hi all,

Where can I find a howto, info or example how to put the default
webpage created by IIS on the www instead of using it as a intranet?

I need to use it with a DNS service because I'm connected by a
dynamical IP from my provider.
I use www.dns4me.com for the dns service.

If you need more info let me know!

Thanx.........

No how-to, just use a publicly accessible IP address. If you have a home
network, you probably need to set up your router to forward port 80 back to
the system on your LAN.

If you have a Dynamic IP you need to have a special service called Dynamic
DNS. Regular DNS takes too long to replicate over the Internet (can be upto
48 hours).

You can do an internet search and it will bring up a bunch of companies that
provided the service. Basically, when your IP changes, they have the
updated IP on their server in seconds or minutes because your PC
automatically sends them an update.

Hi no spam,

My dyn-ip service is working fine, it redirects and a ping from an
external machine comes up with good results.
