Spell Check Outlook Express

Spell Check Outlook Express

Post by John Zodro » Sat, 02 Aug 2003 10:30:24

I loaded MS Word after utilizing my computer with Outlook
Express. I changed the settings to designate spellcheck
now that a compatible program is loaded. But when I
execute Spellcheck in Outlook Express, I get an error
message saying that Spellcheck has beed terminated, and
asks if I still want to send the message (w/o
spellchecking).

Do I have to load Outlook Express AFTER MS Word for
Outlook Express to recognize the spellcheck feature? Is
there a quick fix? If I want to reload Outlook Express,
do I have to get all of Windows too. Will I lose any of
my favorites, address book, etc.?

I am willing to trade an equal amount of legal advice for
the first person who has the correct answer and solution.

Spell Check Outlook Express

found that you must have Word, Excel, or (I think) Notepad
installed because that is the only three dictionaries
Outlook will use.

I installed Office which enabled the Spell Check icon.
Now when I try it, I get "An error has occured while
checking the spelling". Does anyone know anything helpful
with this error?
