msystomstone file in use - removing replication?

Post by carla f » Thu, 09 Oct 2003 03:04:51

Using MsA 2000, I have a database that suddenly will not open. I get the
error message that the msysteombstone file is in use.

In the past, this database has been copied onto a laptop or zip drive, so it
became a replicated database. I'm not trying to sync or anything. I'm not
sure what happened to cause this problem.

How do I get past it? I just want to get into my database. Waaaaa!

Someone suggested I could remove the replication in the database. It is a
simple, straight forward database, but how do I do this?

Thanks, sniff! sniff!

Forgot to mention that I can't even get into the file to do anything. It
won't repair. Is it hopeless?

Thanks,
Carla

I still have not received an answser on this. I can't get the original file
to open. I found a .bak file, but I would really rather figure out how to
repair the original. Is it hopeless?

Thanks,
Carla
