3163 Error "You have tried to paste too much data into a field too small....

I have several replicas direct synching to a main
database. Approximately 1/3 of the machines get the
message above when trying to synch, the rest of us have no
problem. There are hundreds of fields in this database and
it would be difficult to figure out which had the
offending data. This data was converted over from 97
recently and I never had this problem with Access 97.
Any ideas and why the inconsistency. (I have already tried
resetting references - this has not worked.)
Thanks in advance.

1. Access 2003 and SourceSafe:Error 3163:The field is too small ...

2. Copy all data from a:Class A's fields to the namesake fields of b:Class B.

I have two class with nearly exactly same attributes, the only difference is
class B's property setter does some argument checking.

[Serializable]
class A
{
private string a;

public string AA
{
get { return a; }
set { a = value; }
}
}

[Serializable]
class B
{
private string a;

public string AA
{
get { return a; }
set
{
if (string.IsNullOrEmpty(value))
{
throw new ApplicationException();
}
a = value;
}
}
}

I want to do the following:
A a = new A();
a.AA = "123123";
B b = (B)a; -- Copy a's attribute values to b.
Please tell me how to implement a generic function to support copying
namesake fields from one class instance to another even when they belongs to
different class type.

Thanks.
