On a system that has an Access 2000 database using security workgroup file
on a network share is a Design Master, which is based on Jet replication.
The client pc's have a replica copy of the database made from the design
master and use direct JRO replication.

But the replica is read only even when logged in as the administrator.

How do you configure a copy of the database to be made so that changes can
be made/tested by a developer before implementing in the design master.

Nnot sure what you mean here -- exactly what changes to data are "read only"
and what is the error you get?
