Manually editing the conflict table

Manually editing the conflict table

Post by David » Thu, 13 Jul 2006 01:02:18

I am trying to get rid of a conflict error that won't go away. Forgive my
noviceness but how do I find the conflict table? I'm using Jet 4.0,
Microsoft Access 2000 Ver 9.0 Build 6620 SP 3.

Also, is it ok to just delete records in the conflict table? I have already
re-spawned replicas from the design master so there shouldn't be any real
conflicts.

If you have a conflict in tblMyTable, the conflict table will be
called tblMyTable_Conflicts.

You can delete records from the conflict table, yes.

You can also go into the backend and use the database tools-->Resolve
Conflicts. I don't know if this is just the way our programs are set up but
we have a FE and a BE. And anytime you open the BE it prompts you to resolve
conflicts and then opens a form to display the conflic winner and loser.
From my experience with this that menu brings you to the same built in form.
