recently began using a cable modem on my Mac OS X, with
IE as the default browser. I'm able to receive mail at my
email address, but I'm not able to send it. I wrote to
Comcast (the cable provider) about this; correspondence
follows. What I'd like to do is to be able to use IE and
my comcast.net address to send and receive mail, without
having to use MS Outlook Express, as recommended by
Comcast. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
