2. three segment connector with restricted middle segment?
Hi,
I'd like to make some connectors that are easy to line up in parallel
between two pairs of endpoints....i guess an example would help, see
the bottom image here:

see how the middle segments of all of these representation of cables
are either 45 degrees or 0 degress? I'd like the same thing, basically
a three segment connector, where the middle segment is locked to only
0,45,90,135 degrees to make them easy to create parallel lines. Then
there would be segements on either end that can actually be bought
into the target connector.
Sorry, i know my descriptions aren't great, but take a look at the
diagram. I've tried to use some of the isometric connectors, but they
aren't exactly the same. I want full freedom to place the end segments
and also to resize the middle segment....
Any examples of this around or ideas on how to accomplish this?
