sharing links to on-line audio content?

Post by WFBFS » Wed, 10 Nov 2004 21:25:03

one of the AM talk radio stations that i listen to posts MP3 recordings of
their previous shows ... various links on the radio station's website point
to previously recorded show segments (MP3 files) ... these MP3's are not
downloadable, but clicking on their links automatically opens MS Media Player
and plays the recording ...

is there a way to access such content via DSM-320 and WMC? i thought i read
somewhere that there is a way to share links to on-line radio station content
... does anyone know how to do this?

thank you for all pointers.

basically i'm looking to access links to audio recordings rather than the
actual MP3 file ...

2. On-line when not on-line ?!?

I'm stumped! Today I received an IM from a person on my contact list. She saw
I was on-line. The only problem is that I did not open MSN. And I do not have
it set to open on start-up, and I don't see it in the system tray. All I had
opened was Outlook & maybe IE. As far as I can tell, I do NOT have MSN open
let alone connected.

Does anyone have an idea why I appear to be on-line when I don't think I am,
and how I can disable whatever the %$#!!! is going on?
