Is picture in picture possible in MS Power Point?

I would like to place a "timer clock" in my MS Presentation so the students
can see the question and the timer count down. ( I did download the timer
clock and I will try to "re-set" to the time I desire.) Is this possible? I
have approx. 100 questions in total and each slide, when turned to, will
count down from 2 1/2 minutes to zero.

If you've downloaded from the microsoft site you will find its very difficult
to modify as they have used pictures not text.

Easy enough to make your own countdown timer
Draw a rectangle and add the text 02:30, adjust font etc to taste
Now copy and paste - take say 5 secs off ie change to 02.25
Keep doing this till 00:00
Drag a selection box around the lot and use the align tool to line them up
Still with them all selected go to custom animation > appear> delay 5 secs>
after previous

Set the slide transtion to auto after 0 secs

Obviously you could substitute any time instead of 5 secs

Hope it makes sense

Tk you again. Made the clock. Works sort of. Timing of # as they count
down is off. Students will get a kick out that! (fast in places, slow in
others. I did check timing. 0 on in # and 5 sec on out). Now how do I get
the "clock" into my presentation? Hyperlink worked but only clock showed not
the slide with the question on it. Do I make this slide a "master" and
insert my questions around the clock?

nce its working (I should have mentioned dont animate the 02:30, if you have
highlight it in custom animation - should be first item and click remove)
drag a selection rectangle around the "clock" so all layers are selected .
Copy and paste on to the slide master in your presentation. Mine keeps fair
time so maybe you made a mistake somewhere
