Default to Public Journal

Post by TWFudGhvcm » Thu, 07 Jul 2005 07:11:01

I have set up a public contacts folder and a public journal folder in MS
Outlook 2003. I would like the journal entries I create from the public
contacts folder to be automatically recorded in the public journal folder,
instead of my personal journal. Is this possible?

Put another way, my co-workers and myself share a public contacts folder. We
would like to easily use just one public journal for all of those public
contacts, without the hassle of copying the events from our individual
journals.

Thanks for any advice.

I had the exact same question. The one reply posted seems like a rather
lengthly way to the answer! Frustrating!

Bottom line is that Outlook has no built-in functionality to do what you want.
