This is not a WORD newsgroup. This is an ACCESS newgroup.

Have you tried typing a value (7, 6, etc.) in the font size box?

This is a newsgroup dedicated to table design using Microsoft Access, a
database product. Try posting in the Microsoft Word newgroups...

(and yes, it is. Have you tried entering a number smaller than 8 in the
font-size drop down box?)

Wrong Newsgroup.

Yes. Just type the number in such as 5 and press ENTER. It may not work
for all fonts. It might not print correctly also.
