Bluetooth problems

I have 2 different bluetooth usb dongles, Sitecom and Sweex 2.0. Both usb
bluetooth dongles are not regognized in Vista. If I follow the Help
guidelines and go to configuration > printers and hardware, there is only a
printer icon and a separate icon for hardware. If I go to the download site
for bluetooth, it says during downloading: no bluetooth device discovered.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem? There is also a Toshiba bluetooth
stack installed.

Bluetooth problems

(I asked this question in the general forum, only afterwards I notice
that this group was available)

Hi, I have an Acer 5920 which includes a Bluetooth adapter. I pair
bluetooth GPS with no problems, and any program can open the port an
communicate with the GPS.

But if I put the laptop to sleep, when I wake it up the GPS stil
connects to the laptop, but the port cannot be opened anymore. If
restart Vista, and I pair the GPS again, the port can be opened; slee
again, and the port is dead.

I've also tried hooking up a Dell Axim v50 through bluetooth to th
laptop and the same happens: after waking up from sleep, the laptop i
unable to open the COM port.

Anyone knows what this could be about

Check Device manager-bluetooth devices. One should list Power Management
tab. Be sure neither box is checked. You don't want BT to power down

Thanks for the suggestion :) But it's not that. The device clearly
indicates that it connects every time, so the Bluetooth radio *is*
working. It's the port that cannot be opened by the applications (after
the first time).
