2. POP3 connector downloads messages but messages disappear.
When I use the POP3 connector in Exchange and have the default e-mail
address, in AD, of a user as the same address as the external POP3 address
the messages get lost. For example:
Working example:
External ISP e-mail account: XXXX@XXXXX.COM ; Internal user default
e-mail: XXXX@XXXXX.COM .
Disappearing example:
External ISP e-mail account: XXXX@XXXXX.COM ; Internal user default
e-mail: XXXX@XXXXX.COM
I know that this is not normal. I have turned on POP3 logging to the
maximum, and the events are clear that it should be delivering the e-mail to
the store, but the mailboxes don't receive e-mails.
I wonder if there is a fix for this. The user wants to continue to use the
external ISP's account.
